Review the complete set for consistency. Your leadership, relationships, first-choice course and career plan should support one credible direction without repeating the same evidence unnecessarily.
Common Chevening Application Mistakes to Avoid
Applicants can weaken their answers by:
- Reusing the same example across several answers
- Describing a team achievement without clarifying their own role
- Making impact claims without evidence or clear results
- Treating networking as collecting contacts rather than building productive relationships
- Giving generic reasons for course and university choices
- Failing to focus the course answer on the first-choice course
